WHAT IS IT?

Every year, City Church California holds a special “Build Together” offering where we all give a one-time sacrificial financial gift over and above our tithes. We will do this to propel our church into all we believe God wants to do in California.

Our vision for this year's Build Together offering comes from Romans 8:18 in the NKJV translation:

“For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.”

2022 INITIATIVES

Vision is about direction, intentionality, and hope. Strategies may pivot, but vision gives intention to the journey and what lies ahead.

COMPASSION

This year we are partnering with local organizations outside our four walls that serve people in our community who are currently experiencing pain and hardship so that God’s glory would be revealed through their lives.

• Partnering with Love Life to provide support and resources to pregnant women in need.

• Partnering with Ventura Rescue Mission to help individuals break free from poverty, homelessness, and addiction.

• Partnering with New Life Counseling Center to provide faith-based counseling to those in need.

• Creating a CCBC Endowment to provide scholarships and apply for an F1 status allowing us to accept foreign students.

CAMPUS

One of our goals this year is to make some updates at our 6360 Telephone Road Campus so that we can continue to be a place of healing, restoration, and glory for people who come onto our property as well as those who participate online. This sees us making the following upgrades.

• Patio Seating Area in Church Front - We want to create more space for people to connect before and after service. This area would provide outdoor seating and a coffee bar area for those who attend on Sunday and for even City Groups to use during the week.

• New Chairs For Auditorium - Our goal is to provide a little wider chair in our auditorium to give everyone just a little more space. We love being close but not that close.

• Fiber Internet - We have so many people engaging with us online for Sunday Gatherings and Thursday Nights, and we see an open door to more influence and impact with our content. However, one of our limitations has been the speed of our internet, so the upgrade to Fiber would allow us to execute all that we do at a higher level of excellence.
