The Baptism Team hosts our Water Baptism Experience every month. This team’s operation ranges from connecting with people getting baptized to provide them with t-shirts, towels, and anything else they might need for their baptism- to praying for them after the moment of their baptism and helping them get plugged into City Church California.

This area of ministry has an increasing demand as our church has experienced growth in our Wednesday evening City Groups and our Thursday night prayer services. Our Thursday evening childcare is a year-round team that provides nursery-elementary childcare. Our Wednesday evening childcare team currently only serves during two seasons a year (Feb-May and Sept-Nov) and focuses on toddler-elementary classes.

The City Youth Leader team creates a welcoming space where middle school and high school students feel known and connected. Through youth nights, small groups, camps, campus clubs, and Sunday middle school classes, you’ll help students experience God, build lasting relationships, and disciple students in their life of faith.

The Parent Safety Team brings peace of mind by adding an extra layer of supervision to City Youth gatherings. We’re focused on keeping middle school and high school students safe during youth nights, camps, and all other gatherings we host—offering oversight that feels warm and watchful, as well as secure.

A vocalist leads the congregation by singing and modeling worship through expression and enthusiasm, directing attention to God while blending with the team and preparing spiritually and musically.

The lighting operator controls the lighting system during Sunday services, ensuring a smooth and engaging worship atmosphere. Using pre-existing presets, they adjust lighting cues to align with the flow of the service, including worship, sermons, and transitions.

The Floor Manager oversees the execution of Sunday services by coordinating communication between the worship team, production team, and pastoral staff. They ensure all service elements run smoothly, addressing any last-minute issues and maintaining a distraction-free environment.

The Service Director oversees the entire production team during Sunday services, ensuring all elements run smoothly and on time. They lead the team, manage service flow, and coordinate transitions to create a seamless worship experience.

The Back of House (BOH) Audio Engineer manages and mixes audio for the online experience during Sunday services. They ensure balanced sound for the livestream, including worship, speaking, and media playback, creating a clear and immersive worship environment.

The Front of House (FOH) Audio Engineer manages and mixes audio for the in-person experience during Sunday services. They ensure balanced sound for the congregation, including worship, speaking, and media playback, creating a clear and immersive worship environment.

The prayer team member’s primary responsibility is to be available during the corporate service to minister in prayer and encouragement to those who respond to the altar call or indicate a desire for prayer. The prayer team intercedes throughout the week to provide prayer covering for the church and its members.

Our City Group Leaders lead our small groups throughout the week creating opportunities for people to experience authentic community, find freedom, and grow in their relationship with Jesus.

The administration team uses their gift of organization and attention to detail to serve the ministries of the church through a variety of roles, including data entry and management, church correspondence, and supporting event logistics.

The facilities team contributes their skills and time to improve the church building and grounds through tasks such as preventative maintenance, repairs, and special enhancement projects.

The Spanish translation team watches the live stream of City Church California services to provide real-time translation for our Spanish-speaking members sitting in service. Translation is delivered via headsets, which are provided upon entering the auditorium.
